Help identify part #
 

I searched realoem and can't seem to find this in their mirror assembly diagrams.. I'd look at my own but I had to glue the mirrors to them as the clips cracked.. Just ordered euro glass from Latvia, I'll need 2 of these as well but 42 a piece is more than the glass!! ... Any help appreciated!

On the mirror section of realoem, you can find them as a "motor repair kit", it basically comes with that plate, the motor and wiring, and you can pop the plate off the repair kit and install on your mirror and just junk the rest of it.

That was an expensive fix for me, thankfully I only broke one side when replacing mirrors. Those repair kits are over 120 bucks apiece!

If eBay is offering just the backing plates for 42 apiece, I would buy them there, as you can't buy the plate separate from BMW and it will cost you over 100 bucks a side if you get the repair kit I mentioned.

Well damn, guess someone out there knows they got us bent over a barrel huh
