I know this is a little outta date but an air hammer works wonders on getting the axle back into the hub.

What kinda symptoms are you having? I have had a wobble upon breaking and it has gotten pretty bad. When I changed my cv boots I noticed I had a lot of play in the wheel up and down and side to side. It really seems that the only thing keeping everything together is the brake calipers. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

When my pass side bearing started to fail last Fall it made an annoying cringe inducing continual scrapping sound but no wobble. I too had wobble before and afterwards during breaking and I changed the thrust arm bushings and ball joints while I was changing my bearing. I also changed the CV axle while I was at it since the boot was split to shreds. The wobble while breaking did improve but it wasn't until I recently replaced both control arms that the wobble went completely away. The new control arms really firmed up the front end.

I'm not having any issues with my driver's side bearing but I plan on changing it to be proactive.

Did you R&R the CV axles yourself? If so did you tighten the new axle nut at 330 ft lbs?

I had some noise.....

Threw it up on the rack. With a prybar and the wheels spinning, you could clearly see the slop...Replaced both front and rear DS. 15K miles later, passenger side still untouched
