So what's the problem?

He ordered what he thought was Original Teile & got oem adjacent?

I ordered this part off of eBay and the listing said ''Genuine BMW Tensioner" So I was expecting to see a white box with a BMW sticker on it with '' 1 Stück "

I get this white and green box with Made in Slovakia on it. I thought it was a cheap aftermarket part so I kind of got spooked. Wasn't familiar with INA - Schaeffler Group USA Inc. Turns out that this is a OEM part. Wondering if this is the same part that is currently in my X....

Can anyone verify ?

If you want Genuine BMW parts you need to order it from a BMW dealer, not off of eBay.

Don't have a problem if it's not genuine since it's from INA which makes the exact tensioner as BMW

There are quite a few manufacturers that provide "OE" parts for our cars. Bmw actually manufacturers very little when it comes to bolt on parts. Your tensioner is legit.

Yeah for a second I thought it was aftermarket. . . . Good info didn't know they had so many OE parts. Next time I wont be so surprised.

INA makes the OE tensioners, it's a good part.
