Low, you are referring to same data - it doesn't matter if the comp says 80 or 350 miles, it is not reliable. It is like x+y=10... We can't determine x nor y - insufficient data... You need to do other calculations as suggested by very experienced folks in order to determine the root cause of your issue...

Next time when you are empty, fill up, tell us how many gallons you got and what mileage was reported, and if possible, what was in the saddle tank...

Ok so I just filled up .. car was about to run out of gas gauge was reading about 1/4 of a tank .. I put in 18gallons .. now the gauge reads full

if you put 18 gallons into a 24 gallon tank, you probably still had about 6 gallons (1/4 of the 24) somewhere in the tank... since your electric fuel pump is running, you might have issues with the siphoning pump... pull the cluster reading of the fuel up and monitor your fuel usage as you approach the 1/4 again... if the remaining 6 gallons stay in the left half of the tank, you get the 1/4 tank reading but the car starves for fuel, you have issues with the siphon pump...

I can't read my cluster cause the pixels are shot. But it happens every time I have a 1/4. So I deff agree with u guys that it is the siphon pump... does any one have the how to do to replace this . Or a part #.. thanks

You've gotta help us help you better. Please create a signature that includes your model/model year/build date so that we can be specific in our suggestions and replies to you. Remember to be cognizant of different option set-ups...like if asking about your suspension...remember that there's the conventional set-up, the single axle self leveling system, and the dual axle self leveling system...you must identify which you have. :)

There are multiple changes during the production run from 2000-2006 which could call for multiple answers....and if we need to look up info or supply diagrams or part nbrs...it only take longer to get to the end result due to having to ask you to supply more info before we can give a suggestion or answer. :)

Like in this case...there are TWO different instrument cluster...the high & low cluster...and the instructions for UNLOCKING them are different.

So which cluster do you have...the low cluster (it uses a GRAPHIC DISPLAY for the check control system) and only has a button on the left side (that resets the trip odometer)...or the high cluster (it has a 20 digit alpha/numeric display) and has a button on the left & right of the instrument cluster.
