Hey guys, just wanted to let you guys know that, with the help of Jeff, I have posted a write-up on the BMW OEM brushed aluminum running board install with pictures. If you are in the US, some dealers may tell you that those running boards don't work on the 4.8is...but it does. All you have to do is order the fender flares in addition to the running board. The parts numbers are in the European catalogue. Thanks again and good luck. :thumbup:

I did 2 sets of those on my 4.4. Was actually not bad.

What is the deal with the boards for the 4.6 though? Do you have to get different flares as well for the 4.6? If I remember that whole wheel arch is replaced. Those darn things are not cheap fo rthe 4.6.
