Need Help! again... Suspension this time
 

Yep, Screwed something up in INPA again.. well kinda.
Ive read a few days on here ago inpa do "25" to lower X and -25 to put back where it was.. so i did that Entered 25 for left and right:
Old vaules here with the values right after the 25.

So the i Put -25 like was told in the other thread to go back to how it was and Nope got completley different values..

Then i did 75 lowered it looked cool, then -75... wrong value and it was -3 on one side.

And it looked pretty high not stock i dont think....

Anyway did 25 and - 25 again and this is how it is now:

My question is..

What are the stock values supposed to be?? 04 4.4 SINGLE air axle Style 87 20":dunno:

Also what does rim flange mean? when i use tape measure and it says bottom left highest position of wheel house, is that the fender plastic or inside the wheel well? And it says x5 19Inches what about the value for 20?

Measure from bottom of rim edge (not the ground) to the lower of the green lines in this pic:

You don't have Sport Package Artem right? If so your values should be as follows (stock ride height, 20" wheels, non-sport)

Here is height chart

For you, non sport with 20" wheels, stock height should be 722 front, 724 rear.

Don't go by what INPA shows, go by what the actual measurements are.

Also what does this mean? does it mean that im a bout a centimeter off from the stock? value?

Also since my front is coils and the chart says its supposed to be higher.. should i stick with the 20" rear height, or should i maybe go to 18" specs which was factory to me?

How would the handling be affected if i leave everything at 18" setting and what about if i raise the rear to 20"

The height variance in the numbers is from the different wheel size, if you're measuring bottom of rim flange to wheel well with 18" wheel it is different distance than with 20" wheel, thats why the numbers are different.

Whether you have 18" sport package or 20" wheels with sport package the ride height will be the same (but different in mm when measuring as different wheel size), only difference is whether you have Sport Package or not.

Even if you have Sport Package (you don't, I do), 2-axle air suspension was an additional option. So since I have 20" wheels and Sport package, even if I only had rear air suspension, my values would be 707 and 709, stock, while yours would be 722 and 724, stock, because I am sport package equipped. Make sense?


As for the offset values screen, not too familiar with that but as long as you aren't way off on either side that is ok, I think thats to tell you what the difference is in readings from side to side, say if you were -45 on one side and -90 on the other you would throw an error for ride height offset deviation or something like that.

That makes so much sense now! i didnt even think about that why it was different height which it isnt actually.
