4x4, ABS, Brake and EML light all went off at the same time

It happened last night when I drove home from LGA airport. All of sudden, the car started to "jump", harsh response to pedal. And I looked at the dash, it's the picture you see below. Stopped at a service station, the engine couldn't hold the idle and died right after restarted. Tried many times, and eventually had to hold the pedal right after started. Drove the last 60 miles home, 11pm. Read the code: P1500 & P0175. Thought, damn, gotta use wife's car to work tomorrow.
Popped the hood, ready to take off all the hoses. WAIT!!! Where the heck does the gap come from? :wow: The elbow hose which follows the MAF is DETACHED, leaving a big gap between the 2 black rubber hoses. Checked the clamp, damn so loose. :bustingup Now put it back on, tighten the shit our of it, closed the hood, restarted, sounds like a champ. :D It must be the bumpy road that caused that drop. After all, I tighten that clamp last time, clearly I must be using my pinky finger last time. :stickpoke Everything is all good now. Just wanna share with you guys. |
glad it resolved so easy!!!!
