You can buy the silver mesh pieces from BMW they aren't expensive, but yes I think the lower mesh should match the grilles and hood vents

My 4.4I has the Titanium grill option.. the bumper mesh is still black.

Most of the 4.8iS I've seen have comfort seats including mine.
The mesh insert should stay black IMO. If you paint them silver, it's too much like american truck.
Where did you hide the E39?

Thanks , the x5 is a totally different car.bigger, heavier ofcourse .i don't know I think I like the X5 a little more, partially because it's a new car to me and has much more options than my previous E39's.. and it's safer..
TMV would be able to make a better comparison since he owns both at the moment while I have to remember how my 540i felt on the road.. ;)

:confused: That's weird. My 2004 3.0 had the sport package and the mesh is silver. Was this titanium option only on sport 3.0's? Has yours had an accident or other wise changed by someone before you?

I changed my grills to silver, but they came black like all 3.0's.

Even our sport package '01 has titanium mesh: (hard to see, but it is silver) I have since changed that grill to silver as well.

I actually prefer the silver to the black on the 4.8is. I considered changing it when I did the under ride protection install and had the bumper off.

So, were the V8 sports all black and the 3.0's silver? I like the silver when I look at the pics of my ole 3.0. Think I'll set over to photoshop and see if I can convince myself. Mooohahahah

Welcome OP! Great color! :D LOVE the no NAV. My 3.0 had no NAV. Loved it.

Hmm I think I prefer the black...much cleaner look ..also,did anybody try to match the front windows with the rear factory tint?is it 35%?dont know if I should do all of them at 15%-20% or just match the front ...
For spacers I saw FCP sells h&r's 15mm .Any of you running 25mm?thanks!!
