This BREAKS MY HEART. but its time to sell my beloved 4.4i.

I just went to BMW and put a deposit down on a lease for a 2014 X3 M Sport 35i, loaded with every option. I can still back out of it, but supposed to get it on monday.

Am i crazy? I feel somewhat weird about this... I just put it up on cars.com, i cant even begin to tell you all how much i still love this car...

Anyway, pics of the old and the new...

Nazario,
Congratulations!

Your 4.4 was cool and hauled your fanny for a long time...
The new X3 looks Titz in the M body mode, imo.

I almost bought my CEO a used one, when shopping for her car.

Hope your new career is going well, and that your Fam is all fine.
I enjoy seeing you on FB...
BR, Ol'UncleMotor

PS: I surely miss the NJ/NY winters. ;)

Bro whatever you choose I'm proud to call you a friend of mine outside this forum!

A clean slate car wise is hard to pass up but I know how much you love your girl. Either way enjoy being 5 years younger than me and do you!

Looking forward to whatever bimmer present or future you choose, but one thing is for certain you need some 15% tint all around on that X3!

Your homie - J

Naz, dude!!! nice looking cars - both, the old and the new... I am still partial to the E53 but the new generations are growing in sizes, and it is not a surprize that E53 folks are migrating to the X3...

how many miles a year do they allow you?

BigBlack48is 02-15-2014 09:11 PM

+1 on the E53 :)

15k a year for the lease, so enough to drive anywhere i would be driving!

I am also partial to the E53; however, with the unpredictability of the repairs and such, i was getting nervous about what could happen next. I just spent 1400 on repairs on it, and it just seems like it will never end. WIth 127k miles on her, it may be time to go....

If anyone is interested (price is negotiable for outpost members )

Your X5 is clean...

I've never been a fan of the X3. I think it looks like a miniature wagon that ate too much. The E53 in my opinion is the best looking, mid-size SUV to ever hit the market.

The new model looks good! If you decide to get it, congrats! I'm sure you'll miss your old one but a new bond will form. :)

Naz, isn't the X3 LCI about to come out? If so, why not wait a bit?
