Difficult Battery Removal
I've got a dead battery I need to replace. All doors are unlocked except the rear hatchback. Is there any manual way from the inside to pop the rear hatch?

Well, you could use the manual release from the luggage compartment. I recall a rubber plug, and a lever that you pull.
It is in your owner's manual, available in PDF format in the Online References above if you have misplaced it. Good luck. |
Will try. Thanks

You can also connect a jump starter on the terminals under the hood then pop the trunk open.

Just an FYI to those who seem to not know this bit of info: both the upper lift gate and lower tail gate can be opened manually when there's no electrical power. ;)

Great info!!! never knew, thanks a ton!
