Jammed up being able to lower the X
I have a rear air suspension. Seems the three choices. Leave it looking jacked up. Replace air set up with springs, shocks and some plating (there's a few companies that do this but none lower it. Or go with an Eibach front spring set up with the rear lowering rear arms good for 1"'
I called KW in Ca yesterday. Was told pieces and geometry are different going from air to a stock build and coil overs won't work. Re Eibach and a 1"drop, why bother. Then wind up buying mismatched shocks by Bilstein. Anyone do this with success? Looking for ~2" drop all around. |

I kept rear air shocks. Went with K&R lowering kit. Drops it 1.5in on both ends. The springs in front are replaced. Strut stays the same. The rear is dropped by adjustable links that take about 10 minutes a side to install. No error messages.
I have 20" staggered 87s that fill the wheel wells fairly well. I added 18mm spacers. You can see pictures in my album. |
:iagree: I like BC's setup the best for lowering, H&R makes the best suspension stuff, you know its quality.

Just worry about fronts, you can code it to any height you want through inpa

Front springs, rear adjustable links.
