update:
So the forest fires in the San Diego area have forced Rick out of his home and shop and only now has he gotten back in.
SO try not to be disappointed when you hear the timing is 2 weeks late because he had to leave for safety.
I am just glad to hear Rick and his family are safe and able to be back home now.

no, his house and shop were not burned down.

I was in LA on business back in 2004 while the Santa Ana winds were blowing and brush fires were occurring ALL OVER the place out there. It was crazy as many homes were destroyed in mere hours. Fortunately he was able to return to an intact home and business.

update! Rick sent me this pic this morn with no description.
I'm assuming its either the mold, or the first plate he's built as mine sent was titanium silver.

should be getting a verbal update over the next 24 hrs I'm hoping.
BUT to everyone's excitement, yes this black skid plate looks exactly like the OE plate.
