Timing Chain and Tensioners

I will be going through my motor and doing a timing guide replacement. I currently have 130K but am concerned due to the fragile nature of the guides and the "unobtanium" motors if the timing goes. One item I don't see really addressed is if the upper and lower chains, and the upper chain tensioners are typically replaced. There are new plastic guides available for the upper tensioners. The chains and tensioners total up to about $500 which is a good chunk of change.
Looking for comments, experiences, etc. :dunno:

I replaced the main chain, but not the others. I figured the longest chain is going to have stretched the most. I replaced the upper guides though, I replaced all of the plastic in there!
