Our 4.8is update - Exhaust clip - Mods
 

Hey all!

We've now worked through most of the issues on our new to us 4.8is - Transmission rebuild, fixing a few squeaks and rattles, fixed sirius and bluetooth, brakes etc. So now we are on to the modding!

We've upgraded the Angel Eyes to a white LED, yet they don't seem to be bright enough to see in the day time too clearly (any suggestions?)

The exhaust was also upgraded (just cut out the center resonator) and man does it scream! Gotta love that V8 roar!

The white LED on the angel eyes will only update the color, the optics of the rings don't allow for increased brightness.

The only way to get a brighter angel eye on the facelift housings is to bake open or cut open the housings (they are permasealed so you will be spending hours per side to get them open) and replace the rings with brighter ones, so far X5SND is the only one to upgrade his angel eyes and it was NOT easy.
