X5 and tablet android or iphone dash customization
 

I had seen a few videos on youtube with nexus 7 fit into 2004 x5 dash.
Did anyone in this forum made mods as such ?? or any thing different ?

Things that i see benefit in this mod :
1. Good GPS with google maps.
2. bluetooth and aux interface
3. music player interface
4. Want to get back up camera display - no sure it its possible with tablet. Haven't seen anyone do this

Please share all experiences. I thought its cool upgrade and wanna do it to my 2005 x5.

it was done, and was very nice... got me into research mode... lol...

i hate to say that, but search button is your friend... it is not my best friend, as i always have hard time finding things, but the thread i am talking about should be rather recent, within a year or so... do a nexus for search, maybe something will come up...

The forums are great but the search sucks seriously on these forums.
They gotta have a better interface and usability for search.
