What did I do wrong?

I have an '04 X5 4.4i. I just changed the battery. I put in an Exide battery. I'm told its the right specs. I followed instructions from in this forum so I know I changed it right. On my ride home last night the car stuttered and seem to shut off when the battery light went on but stayed on. Then as I went to back into my driveway, when I put it in reverse, it shut off. Everything then went off, lights, phone charger, radio, etc. But as quickly as it shut off, the lights came back on and as I started it it went right back on, no issues. This morning it started up no issue but kind of shut off again but didn't actually shut off. I'm confused. I'm pretty sure I did everything right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Resolved! I hope..... No issues since I tightened the terminal down. 😁

glad that all is well now

One little favor - can you edit the title of the thread to say something like SOLVED, RESOLVED, FIXED or whatever you want to say, to reflect the resolution?

Thanks!!!
