Rattle on startup
 

Hmm, lately I've had a rattle, not very loud, on startup. I've been digging through the forum and most folks seem to say it's the vanos, but that's a v8 issue, not a 3.slow issue. I'll try and post a video tomorrow, but I'm wondering if it's the disa, as I've seen on some forums that it can cause a rattle on startup, but the rattle only lasts about a second.

id venture the vanos too, its not super common on the 3.0 (2.slow is the VW!) but it doesn happen. I had a Z3 that had that problem too, chased around lots of different things, ended up the vanos was rattling ever so slightly! and only for a few seconds while idling.
be something worth looking into! (Bessian makes a great kit!)
