02 4.6is transmission screech

Hi, so today I decided to take a drive up a local twisty in my 02 4.6is. On a straight I punched it and then heard in between gear shifts a high pitched screech. It only does it at the higher RPM's when shifting. Is it my torque converter? BTW, the X has 135,000 miles on the original transmission.

Yea,mine 4.6is did the samething,it is the torque converter,it's normal.

Does it mean the torque converter is coming apart? why does it screech in the first place?
