Just saw this via a friend. 2 people killed last night in high speed crash
Crazy! Maxima slams into the 4.8 leading the Maxima to wrap a telephone pole.

I'm guilty of speeding on public roads, this is a much needed reality check (for me at least)
drive safe guys.

That was a lot of kinetic energy lost in a very short distance... WOW.

Thank god the X5 only got hit in the engine... a full on side hit would have been devastating.

The driver and the passenger in the BMW were taken to Kings County Hospital with minor injuries, police say.

the bmw might be totaled but the crush zones in the front end did there job (absorb impact) to protect the occupants in the x5 .

This happened not to far from me . My friend who's a cop told me the girl got decapitated and died instantly . I always hate that intersection .

thats sad news to hear , looks like speeding was a factor feel sorry for the families right now. when I was younger I thought I was indestructable back in the day (speeding with my radar detector and getting away with it) . but now i have slowed down (grown up I guess).

Yeah, You can see her head fall out the window in the video ,what a shame,but people in the city drive like nuts .Too bad.

It proves, again, that the X5 was built with high safety standard.
