Coolant leak by transfer case

I'm afraid I have a coolant leak, but oddly enough it is on the driver's side, right next to the transfer case. At first I thought it was just running down the engine, along the frame, and onto the ground. I got under the car and looked though, and there is actually a pipe there and the coolant is slowly dripping out of the pipe. I only notice if I let my car sit for a long period of time. Does anyone know what this pipe is or where it connects to?

Is it coolant or condisation?

If it's condisation, it is from the ac.

I guess it could be condensation. The first time I saw it though I put my finger down there to check the color, and it was slightly blue, which lead me to believe it was coolant. My coolant has been going down slowly though, and I've just been replacing it with distilled water since it is summer. I thought maybe I had diluted the coolant to where it wasn't so blue anymore.

I have looked on all the schematics for this car, and for the life of my I do not see this tube. Is there a tube that comes off the AC for the condensation to drip out of?

Yep. Was the ac running? Is it hot and humid at your location?

Yes. There is actually two. One on each side of your tranny/transfer case assembly. At least on mine there is.

When ever I'm not sure if the fluid is condisation or coolant, I taste it. Little dab on the tounge never hurt anyone:)

Yes the AC was running when I noticed the leak the second time. I cannot remember if it was the first time. And it was warm, probably around 75 degrees. It is never humid in Idaho. :)

Follow up question, do you know if it is possible for coolant to leak out of the same tubes? Because the first time I saw it leaking I could have sworn it was blue, and my coolant level has been slowly going down.

Could be a leak in the heater core and that will mix with the condensation from the evaporator. Do you smell ant-freeze in the cabin when the heater is on?

I do not smell anti-freeze in the cabin when the heater is on. I recently had the engine out of the car, so I wouldn't be surprised if I had some hoses leaking somewhere. It is not leaking excessively. Probably have to refill the expansion tank once every two weeks. I was just wondering if maybe I had found the leak.
