No...I can't see anything. :(

Now here it is. :P
|
That's part of the 4.6is/4.8is body package.
|
Here are more details. If I'm not mistaken, most of these parts are no longer available from BMW.

Yep 4.6/4.8is rear valance, new from BMW you're looking at $550 bucks since it's 3 pieces.
Try to find one used off a parted out X5, you just missed one in the classifieds. The 4.6iS front valance I also found went extremely up in price, just 2 years ago it was right around $300, now its $440. |
You may still be able to order it from here.

Paint your lower portion is another option.

You can buy it off from Tmv ... He doesn't need it for his 4.8is lol

This looks AWESOME!!!! LIKE REAL!!!!!! :wow:
How did you do that? scotch tape all the rest and paint with a spray bottle? Did you take it down? CHEAPEST way for me! Quote:

I will let tmv chime in here, but I'm fairly certain to do it well you should drop the bumper, mask it off and cover up the rest of the bumper with plastic to avoid getting overspray everywhere.
Also I'm pretty sure after masking the area you have to sand it smooth, his does not look like it was painted over the textured plastic. Perhaps the shop can spray a few coats of primer down on the texture, sand it smooth, and then lay down one more coat of primer before color. I am contemplating doing this on my '03 Topaz as I like the look, although I am worried that it will get lost because of the black bumper, the silver/white really makes the paint "pop" on this mod. |
I've been considering going the other way entirely, adding front/rear "is" lower panels finished in satin black, to blend in with the black plastic lower cladding.
|
I brought it to a body shop to fix a corner scratch from a hit-n-run in a parking lot. I add on the bottom part painting. I believed they just tape off the area and paint it.
