I dont see why you couldnt use the k&n cleaning kit. All it is is degreaser (maybe some special mix) and air intake oiler. Pick it up at local auto store.

The other guy may have over oiled the filter or something. Just watch how much you spray on and dont over-do it.

yeah i guess im gonna have no choice but to use the K&N cleaning kit .. but thanks tho for all the help guys
