Battery drain

I read many threads about it and picked up a few tips.
My 01 3.0/5 spd just started draining the battery last weekend. I drive it about once a week and I just put a new battery in it over the winter. Twice I have charged it and each time by morning it was dead.
After reading the threads I dug into searching for the drain. The battery is starting out with decent voltage, ~12.9vdc. I hooked up my meter and got >5amp drain with the lights on, so I dummy latched all the doors I had open. Amperage draw fell to ~2.8a. I waited the 16 min plus for it to go into sleep mode, obviously it won't because it's no where near the 750mA prerequisite. But I waited anyway. After the allotted time I started pulling all of the fuses in the glove box, no change noted. Started pulling the fuses and relays in the aft right cargo area, no change. My X has a trailer brake control unit, so I pulled those fuses also, no change.
My question is, what else is there to pull? GM3? Any other control modules? Also, where are they located?
Any help would be appreaciated.
