That's awesome - I love the info you share. I'm kinda the fix-it guy for all the cars in the family. For giggles, I'm going to see what other keys are out there for the rest of them. My E36 328, in-laws' E39 528, brother-in-law's E36 328 and E46 325. Only one that falls outside of your list is the 1990 M3....

It will be interesting to find out how many of the original 10 keys are left for each of the BMWs in your family's stable.

If anyone is on their 10th key...they'll know to always be conscious of their key's location...because if they lose it...its gonna be expensive & inconvenient trying to get another set of keys.
