Please need help on intercooler removal
 

Hello, please can anyone explain me how to remove the intercooler on a facelift E53 3.0d, I can´t find this info anywhere.

Not so many diesels on this forum. Try Xdrivers as there are plenty on there.

I have a pre-facelift 3.0 diesel, but haven' had to service or replace this. I've changed plenty of other items (suspension, filters, interior, etc.) and retrofit various factory options (PDC, mud flaps, leather interior and more).

If it's below the radiator - I would expect you'll have better access this way. Other possible alternative would be to remove the front bumper - which is actually fairly easy.

Thank you, I have figure it out by myself. Had to remove front bumper trim and beam and auxiliary fan.
