4.4L Jerky roll/take-off from lights

Hey guys,
Have a BMW X5 4.4L (M62)
Recently changed the timing chain guides as usual since they are common and mine gave way... Ever since (last week) whenever I stop at the lights, and I take my foot off the brake to go, as usual the car rolls forward since it's an Auto but it feels like it is about to stall/jerks but once I apply throttle it all clears up and drives like a dream! doesn't miss a beat and can really drive it hard once off the line, which takes my attention AWAY from incorrect timing being the issue.

Also, a separate problem which may be related is that my drivers side (right side when looking at the back of the car) Exhaust tends to blow out a little, but noticeable more amount of smoke than the left side, and can slightly hear a *pap pap pap pap* gargling V8'ish sound (Which isn't normal since its only one side)

Would appreciate the help heaps!
Sorry for the low quality post, tried to describe the problem as best I could

Thanks in advanced!

Any ideas anyone?! :dunno:

check it for codes... I'd be willing to bet it's something ignition related

Bent valve?

Bump!
I don't receive any error codes, also the Engine light does not come on either, there is a noticeably loud/difference on my drivers side exhaust as if its backfiring (but its not) just sounds like it from the exhaust, I was thinking maybe if it could be a bent valve? since its only coming from the one side (bank 1-4) exhaust?

As discussed in the post I changed the timing chain guides, I had to drive/role the car off the grass out the front into the garage as the cars engine was rattling because of the timing chain guides?

Any other possibilities?
The car runs perfect other than that^
