2001 X5 audio update
 

i have a 2001 X5 3.0i. I plan to replace the existing stereo with a Pioneer DVD system from a previous car. I will put in 2 amps to run the 5.1 system. I will keep the old unit so that i can reconnect it when i need to have the ECU checked.

My question is, where is the best place to tap the speaker wires? I'm assuming it will be in the rear left panel where the original amp is. Would anyone have the color coding of the speaker wires there? Are they standard as green, striped green, grey striped grey...etc?
