Sliding Load Floor noise?

1 Attachment(s)
I'm sure this won't pertain to most on this board, but I need to ask anyway. If anyone has a Sliding Load Floor, do you have noise when going over bumps and whatnot? Any fixes?
I just tried the posted fix for my tailgate with the felt tape, but that wasn't it. It appears to be the sliding load floor now. It usually sounds like my golf clubs are in the back whenever I hit a bump. It's starting to get very frustrating. Could it be something else?
Thank you.

I don't have any rattling...

Did you check the rear side compartments for anything loose in there?

I've got a sliding load floor without any problems. Check the spare tire and battery too.

Also, check & make sure the jack accessories & everything is positioned right. They each have a place where they fit & if they're loose, they could move around & make some jarring noise.........and make sure the load floor is on "track." good luck & hope you find it.....

That can be the most annoying thing in the world. I hate it when I'm carring something in the cargo area and it rattles. Example: my wife was returning a broken toaster... it rattles the whole way to the store.

Sorry, back on topic. Good luck with your noise, hope you find it.

Thank you all for your ideas. I have checked everything for loose items and whatnot. My latest idea is that the floor is not LOCKING into place when fully in. The "hooks" don't lock into the part they are supposed to. They come so close, but just sit on top. I can slide the floor out without pulling that release handle up. (Can anyone else do that?) Also, If I make a fist and bang on the middle of the floor while it is in, It sounds close to the rattle I am hearing. Almost like golf clubs rattling. I'm going to BMW next week to have my window actuator fixed, so I'll have them look at the floor too. Hopefully that will be covered somehow.
Thanks again.

You've got it! The load floor should lock closed! Mine does.
