Navigation Screen Failing, Fix or Replace
So my factory navigation screen is starting to show white lines on the screen, my question is: have it repaired or toss the whole thing and go with a new setup. The PO upgraded the front door speakers to pioneer’s, and an Aux input. I'm still running the factory amp non-DSP, and I have BT. I don’t have a Sub or XM radio which I would like to add in the future.
So please chime in: |
If you decide to stick with the OEM setup, here is a complete system replacement that I came across. This is not mine, and I have no knowledge of the seller. Do your own research. I am local to the seller, though. So if I can assist, let me know.
bmw x5 navagation system Jeff |
If I was to replace, I'd send the unit out for repair. Cost around $250
Just curious if other Xer's have went aftermarket or fixed a stock unit |
Well if money is no object go for it and change the ol things and add sub.... Quit a must.
In my case with DSP i have changed lcd screen (couple of hours with great pdf http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...onitor-21.html.... Like new a year later... But our 128i sound system is way better than e53... I feel that our e53 sounds system OEM is not where it should be Good luck |
