Finally a proper vibe diagnosis.
 

Today my X ,3.0 2001 with 190K miles was diagnosed with a horrible left front axle and a weakening right front axle. They both need replacing. No problem except what to use. There seem to be three distinct options. 1. OEM BMW at $695 each, GKOlodno (manufactures for BMW) @ aprox:$500 for both and finally a BavAuto warrantied Asian made @ 99. each. What have your experiences been? What have you replaced it with? I also need to have my ABS module tested and possibly rebuilt. Getting a rear right wheel sensor code. Other wise the X is running beautifully. This vibration did cost up to a grand of misdiagnosed parts: Motor mounts, trannymount and I did a second complete tuneup. Some mistakes; flat spot on tires.. vacuum leak,, ECU stuck in low idle condition - not repairable. Finally from FL to GA to VT and it is done right. Any thoughts? BTW, I am thinking of replacing the wheel bearings while were in there.
