charging AC (oil requirments)

Anybody have experience with this? Mostly regarding how much oil to add for condenser / drier replacement. My condenser was ruptured so I replaced it and evacuated and charged my ac last night. Ran a vacuum for a half hour made sure it was holding and then I added oil and charge. I intended to add 2oz but I realized that the bottle I had only had 1oz and auto stores were closed. Question is should I have added 1oz or 2oz for replacing a condenser (considering that the drier is integral to the condenser on our systems). My intended 2oz was not based on an concrete number for this system, just some generalities I had seen.

I may re-do the whole process anyways as I messed up on the weight of the can so I ended up guessing. I'm not an AC guru so I feel more comfortable going off of weight than comparing pressures and temperatures. My tag says .97 +/- .02lb which works out to 15.2-15.8oz so aiming for 15.5 gives a nice margin for error and should be easy to hit with the scale.

What are the temps that you are getting at the vents? If it is cold enough for you, I'll just leave it alone.

It's plenty cold. My concern is that if the compressor gets damages from a lack of lubrication or slug feeding liquid I'm going to really regret it.

You can get PAG oil in a can and try adding the same way you added the refrigerant. There are different type of PAG oil so get the same oil.
