BMW Inpa error codes/faults need some info/help
 

Hi all,
I bought a k+dcan usb interface but keep getting connection errors?
I kept the inpa running to read fault codes which it did (yeah)
I have 3 yellow warning lights on all the time ABS/DSC and brakes I think
Anyway Inpa read the errors in the memory plz see below

(1) Error code 0x0068 Error steering angle control unit....do I need to replace the steering angle unit and if so does it need to be coded (a 2nd hand unit) ??
or recalibrate it somehow ??

(2) Error code 0x005A: temporary system deactivation ?? will this disappear once the warning lights are extinguished ??

In-case it helps anyone struggling to get their usb K+Dcan to work with Inpa
try soldering pins 7 & 8 together/to each other that was how I got mine
to read the error codes ??
