new to forum
hey guys, im fairly new to the forum. I recently bought a 2002 X5 with 158,000 miles on it from a dealer auction. So far Ive noticed rear end clunking at takeoff, which a mechanic friend said was the subframe bushings, I'm in the process of replacing those. I also have a light steering wheel shudder when braking. Which, I've learned from here, is most likely thrust bushings and not rotors. don't really have a question yet just want to say thanks to everyone on here, so far the info I gotten from here has helped a ton.

Welcome on board and to the family of X5 owners. Post an image or two when you have a good picture of your newest ride.

If you are going to DIY the sub frame bushing, sent a private message to RB (Ricky Bobby) to rent his tool for removing and installing the bushings.
