removing rear door (whole door)
 

anyone done this? I just noticed mine is starting to rust badly, and I figure its not that expensive to get a used door from a wreck and just swap everything over.

I'm wondering if anyone has tried this/done this and what you ran into doing it? I assume i'm going to have to swap the carrier, glass, switches, motors, speakers, etc....

Its possible to swap it all over, if you have the know how and diy skills working on cars shouldnt be an issue. If all you ever did is an oil change then there will be a learning curve.

precision body work is not my forte. I'm concerned about lining everything up, etc... otherwise, I'm confident I can handle it.

Tape the sill and jambs of the car body and the door, and don't remove the tape until all the bolts/nuts are tighten and the door is align the way you want it.
