X5 Rear ball joint wheel carrier
 

PLEASE Help me before I light my car on fire

Rear Ball joint in wheel carrier pressed out and new one replaced
Can't line up integral link bolt
I have been told the spring needs to be compressed but can't because normal spring compressors dont fit.
So please where do I go from here. Anyone.
Someone mentioned release the lower shock mounting bolt but then I see me being in the same exact boat but with the shock instead of the swing arm.
