Broken tab side view mirror
 

Hi All,

I need to replace my side view mirror as the mirror has cracked.

Not sure if the tabs that hold the mirror in place were broken before, but they are now. Is the mounting ring that the mirror slides onto replaceable?

I've replaced mirror before, but not sure what "mounting ring that the mirror slides onto" means.

3 of 4 of these tabs broke from the motor mount.

^^^^I had to buy that piece, $150 bucks if I recall. Then I had to pry the mounting plate from the new piece, and snap it onto the ball/socket joint of my mirror (I removed the broken one first by prying)

It was an expensive fix to learn how to remove the mirror glass properly.
