pre cat o2 lambda sensor replacement. is it an easy job without a ramp?

i need to replace my pre cat o2 lambda sensor on my 2001 4.4 x5. is it possible to do this without a ramp or jack?

You need at least drive up ramps, otherwise very hard if not impossible.

I went the jack pad / jackstand adapter route personally and it is very safe and secure!

I never really trusted ramps...
