Parts car? 2001 Manual X5 with tow package for $2k

Stumbled across this ad on auto trader. Looks like the car needs work (rear suspension for sure), but it might be worth it for a parts car for someone with a manual transmission or for someone looking for a tow package. Not sure if the tow package is original, but the dealer tow package wasn't cheap - around $800 for the parts.

Dang! Rust free... Leave the rust bucket basket cases for parts cars. If it were closer I'd pick it up, fix it and drive it.
