X5 is Gone
 

Sorry to say but I traded my 2006 X5 money pit in over the weekend.
I want to thank everyone in the group for all their help and suggestions.
A special thanks to Twinspoppa for all your help in setting up my GT1 test set.
I would have never got it to run without your help. With the test set and Bentley manual I was able to fix all the problems myself.
Every time I would have to replace something I would hate the machine until I got back behind the wheel and then it was love all over again
I’m going to miss driving the ultimate machine.

I’M ashamed to admit it but I purchased a 2015 Honda Pilot.

You take a safer but boring route. Nothing wrong with that.

There's a guy on eBay selling laptops with GT1 already installed and up and running and he includes the cable both 16 pins and 20 pins. It's about 400 bucks.

You're welcome! Sorry to hear but congrats on the Honda Pilot! That was one of my choices too before deciding on the X5. Still missing my X but I know where she resides. :)
