E53 Automatic A/C and heating unit not working
 

Blower fan stopped working suddenly. I understand it comes on each time you start the car but it is not the case anymore, and pushing the buttons does not do anything. Any help on how I should troubleshoot to locate the source of the problem will be much appreciated' Luckily I live in DFW where we are 'thankful' for the awesome weather.;). This is for my 2003 E53

Does HVAC control lights up?
Can you control temp?
Defroster working?
Have you check any relating fuse?
Final Stage Resistor?

Does HVAC control lights up? No. The control unit lights up when the car is on with lights on.
Can you control temp? No
Defroster working? No
Have you check any relating fuse? The fuse panel in the trunk does not have anything related to HVAC. Should I look somewhere else?
Final Stage Resistor? I thought about that but I had changed it 2 years ago I believe so kinda ruled that out.
