Big thanks to you (and smokey) for your past info that helped me decide to do it this way. Originally I was going to use a standard bosch 5 pin and trigger with reverse lights...

Glad to hear you got it sorted Smokey. The wife LOVES that the camera is controlled with the PDC button as a factory type setup would be I imagine.

I did see it, very nice. and the LED idea is cool too, I am too lazy to dig in and update my setup with an LED... for last year i wasn't that active on my X... I still want to have the mirrors fold when the car goes to sleep, have the rear hatch auto-roll up and down with a push of a button, have top-view cameras... right now don't have time for any of that... lol...
Is the link to your thread in your signature line?

Any year you aren't that active on an e53 is a good year... lol. Seems like these things are wanting bi-monthly attention most of the time.

I don't have a thread yet... I really do need to make one as I have done so for most of my BMW's on their respective forums. With the little one (almost turning 1) most of my time I used to use for forum stuff is spoken for. But I should still find time to start one... it is nice to document the progress of a vehicle. If for nothing else, it helps jog my horribly bad memory as to when certain services were done.
