Bimmeronly v. BBA

Out of these two outfits that repairs our ABS units, who has used either services and what was the outcome?

I'm in need to get my ABS repaired for now and I'm in a time crunch.

Much appreciate any feedback on this.

I just used BBA over the holidays. Less than 24h turn around time. But it took UPS 10 days to return the package (probably due to Christmas).

Our repair facility uses BBA quite often and never had an issue with the repairs.I have waited tho couple weeks for the repaired units shipping takes for ever.Overnight it if you can and hopefully they have a unit out to swap you.

I used bimmeronly for a cluster repair and radio MID pixel repair (on two seperate occasions). I purchased the services through their ad on EBay. Each time they contacted me to say it was extra complicated and they said it would require paying extra - the first time I paid extra, the second time I complained and they agreed to complete the work for the initial price.

They did fix them both and they have been working without a problem since. Slight hassle factor, but pleased with the work.

They aren't on your list, but I tried to use a vendor called "Automotive Scientific, Inc" (ATE1234 on Ebay, have almost 10000 transactions) for my ABS module. The original one I sent they said was unrepairable, but they agreed to try a second one for me. I bought a supposedly good used unit on ebay, and sent it to them. They checked it out and passed it. But, two different Indy shops were unable to code it. I asked ATE1234 if they wanted to buy it from me as they say they keep some in inventory, but got no answer or follow-up after that.

Ended up buying a brand new Bosch module (around $400). The Indy was able to code it on the first try. Of course, with the Indy doing the coding and someone else doing the module repair, I have no idea who was doing what to whom on this one. The end result was my wallet was lighter...

I would recommend BBA or Matt Mallory @ Cheap ABS. I know the business name doesn't sound appetizing but he is a professional outfit, responds to my emails in 20 minutes.

I'm sending mine to him this week since he has quicker shipping turnaround time than BBA, and is slightly closer in VA.

I'd recommend use an outfitter close to your house that comes with recommendations, I only went with Matt's business since he said he had no problem price matching BBA, and if for some reason it was unrepairable he would fully refund me.

I've repaired my ABS module by BBA, and nothing but compliments.

Thanks everyone! BBA or Matt it may be. Going to reach out to them. Haven't driven my X mor than 2000 miles and it's been in my custody for 3 months already. :(
