X5 3.0i - cluster oil temp display coding
 

I came across this code line on an E46 pdf here list of coding parameters:

CAN_OELDRUCKSCHALTER
Oil pressure switch on CAN bus.
nicht_aktiv

Anyone know if this option is on the E53?

Turning this on could allow oil temp to be displayed on 6cyl X5 clusters?

The basic German translation is Oil Pressure Switch so I am at a loss as to how you'll get oil temperature out of it.

Yes zulu you're right, I was reading the pdf on my phone while walking to the car, reading it again now, I saw it. I was hoping no one saw this post yet and I was gonna just delete it lol!

Well anyone who reads this anyway, if you do know how to get the oil temp to be displayed on the 6cyl X's, post it here please so this thread isnt a total loss lol!
