Can you name this hitch (in 3 notes or less) :-)
 

Since the OEM hitch seems to be NLA, I've been trying to find one from a wrecker. I found this one (see photo) that has a U-haul sticker on it, but seems to mount up the way the OEM hitch does. It doesn't have the "tail" that sticks down that seems to be common on many of the aftermarket hitches. Does anyone recognize it? The guy from the wrecker thinks the bumper support (energy absorber) is the standard version and not the special version.

Doesn't look like OEM, as you can see by comparing to the pictures and diagrams in the long DIY thread. I expect it is a UHaul-sold aftermarket, though it does look better than most aftermarket in actually mounting to the unibody through left and ride side 'supports,' the two shafts in your picture. What does the fine print on the sticker on the right side claim? Just your standard suit-avoidance warnings, or does it claim hitch and trailer weight ratings?

The compliance plate on the hitch (small black/white plate on right hand side) should specify the manufacturer.

Thanks. It's funny Uhaul gives it their own part number, but the installation instructions still call it a 13070. That is the best price I've seen, and less than the wrecker wanted for the used one, but I will continue to look for an OEM.

As noted above, it is a Curt. Those aren't supports, those are the collapsible bumper struts. This hitch is mounted only to the sheet metal, at least in the same location as the OE hitch but without the reinforcements.

OP, if you don't find an OE hitch, a hitch with the longitudinal strut running forward to reduce flex would be better than this style, as long as it also mounted to the sheet metal where this one does (they don't all do so).
