^^ looks mean.
you made lift spacers for the front and rear? |
yes, thank you! hopefully have it apart and together on thursday.
Any details on the lift kit? I've tried to contact fluid motors with no response.
I'm trying desperately, the problem i'm running into is that I cant put the spacers and compress the rear spring enough to stuff it back in the pocket on the body mount side and slide it onto the trailing arm... the front is easy, the rear is kicking me in the nuts.....
How did you go about fabricating the spacers? I'm interested in doing something like this
I made them out of delrin, and then sent them to my cousin to machine in aluminum.
Would you be able to source some for me?
i dont see why not, i'm still trying to figure out the rears though, fronts are easy as hell...
Did you loosen the a-arm and let it hang down AND compress the spring? There is plenty of space to shove the spring in and out if the a-arm is pushed down out of the way. That also means disconnecting the shock, sway bar and brake line.
I can see how if you had a big spacer on the top of the spring, it would be hard to wedge it back in and seat the bottom in the arm again. |
2" spacer, I didnt disconnect the sway bar, i used a 4ft pry bar to get the lower arm down as far as it would go, and then I could barely get the spring back in, I had the spring perch just about resting on the axle.
