Did you ever turn on the rear wiper when it was frozen to the glass? If you did you could had burned out the motor.

right now it wont start as per usual in this weather.
battery loses its charge overnight constantly.

You either have a bad battery that won't hold a charge or you have a parasitic drain That is killing the battery overnight.

i've had the battery and charger checked so something is draining it.
