Odd Sound.. could th is be the water pump?

I returned from a trip and started my 08 4.8i up the next day to an odd sound similar to a diesel or train noise under the hood towards front of engine

Has anyone heard this before? It seems to run slightly rough... no codes are thrown.....

I change AC clutch bearing
Done
