What is happening to BMW
For years they ranked at the top. Was reading automotive news and
Audi is topping BMW. Googled best luxury SUV and BMW was way down the list. The way my 13 X5 is racking up problems, going to be hard to stay with the brand. Forums posted repair cost out of warranty are through the roof |
What definition of "best" are they using?
|
The reports all seem to have similar criteria. What i look at is comfort, interior
amenities and usefulness, performance and reliability of daily driving. Most reports use graphs, number ratings in various areas. Whatever they use, BMW are falling down in the ranks |
I think they are still one of the best.May be mercs are better ..
|
Happy owners are out driving their BMW's. Unhappy owners troll the forums for strength in numbers.
|
In reality owners are driving too work. In traffic, stop and go, or set on cruise
in the stream with all the other cars. Where are you going to ""Drive"" your BMW and not be pulled over for erratic driving. Since most people have the car for work and pleasure. Making time for dealership trips and dealing with some young service writer is not fun of car ownership. |
i have a 2005 V6 Touareg,much better than the X5 2005 model.
i test drove most cars and the Treg was much much better, more luxurious and fun to drive. I also have a 2007 X3 2.5 si with huge amount of problems. BMWs are overrated. |
