how miles at your inspection 2 spark plug change?
As I understand it a e70 determines when a service 2 is due so it isn't at some number of miles. But it must be around some number of miles.
The reasons I ask is the bmw service records I have do not mention service 1s or 2s just inspections and work. I can see my x5 had its spark plugs replaced at about 40000 by the former owner. Now I have a chilton service manual saying the plugs should be replaced at inspection 2s and the x5 now has 107000 so do the plugs need.to be replaced? |
Pull one out and inspect it. Chances are they're fine, but if it's worrying you then just change them.

I have the former owners bmw service records from about 39000 to 105000. I can see the plugs where replaced around 40000 but apparently not sense then. I see the air filter pair were replaced also around 40000. Air filters had to be replaced since then and plugs may be not. I will check a plug and air filters this weekend.
