I have checked with the dealer he can't find the part number after I couldn't find it on real oem. What I did was make my own ground strap using a thick piece of copper wire, insulated.

There is two part numbers. The dealer will tell you which one is the correct one for your car....12427570525 and 12427568573 and no the dealer says they are not purposely cut.

A hard lesson learned is, "Don't fix what ain't broke."

He means it's been cut for a reason and if it's not causing a problem don't 'fix it' or you may make a problem that wasn't there in the first place.

Thanks for translating :)
Dealer still insists that shouldn't be broken or " cut off " though :(

Have the BMW service department repair it and document the repair. Let them take responsibility for the non-problem.

The following measures have been taken in the E70 to minimize reception interference
of AM and FM stations:
• Tailgate connected to ground by the tailgate hinges with integrated ground straps
• Low-noise AM and FM antenna amplifiers with direct ground connection
• Ground connection on the left and right silencer
• Shielded Wave barrier.
The ground connection on the two silencers helps to suppress interference transmitted
from the engine compartment (ignition electronics) along the exhaust system.
The exhaust system is a wave guide and, if no ground straps are used, it carries high-fre-
quency interference to the rear end of the vehicle. At the end of the exhaust system, the
interference is radiated out and couples into the antenna structures located at the rear of
the vehicle. The ground straps on the silencers connect the interference to ground, there-
by suppressing the interference. Page 42 07b_E70 Audio Systems.pdf https://drive.google.com/folderview?...drive_web#list
